Amandeep Johl turned pro in 1990, after winning the National Championship in 1989, and has played and won a number of events on the Indian Tour. As an amateur, he was part of the Indian teams that took part in the Nomura Cup in 1987, and the Eisenhower Trophy in 1988. In 2005, as a captainâÂÂs pick for the Dynasty Cup, he played a stellar role in AsiaâÂÂs win over Japan, contributing 1 ý points. His best season came in 2003, when he finished 14th on the Order of Merit; was runner-up at the Maekyung Open in Korea; and finished tied 10th in the Thailand Open. The seasoned pro has been playing for over two decades on the Asian Tour, and even had two seasons on the European Tour.
