Happy Is Not Limited To An Hour @DelhiCocktailWeek

2017 started pretty much where 2016 left off, with basically the same worries – clearly, we've had a rough start to the year! We are already into the 2nd month and there's some really interesting events taking over! Get together with all your loved ones and celebrate the week leading up to V-Day with lots of fun events, workshops, movies and cocktails!

From Social to Q’la and Olive to PCO, there are over 30 hottest bars that will serve their signature cocktails in a week-long celebration of boozy concoctions. There are many other interesting events happening throughout as well!

  • When: 4th to 11th February
  • Where: All across Delhi & NCR

From 4th to 11th Feb, cocktails will reign supreme over Delhi. I’ve gone through the calendar so many times I’ve almost memorized it, but these are some of the events I am most excited about.

1. Chill out with my pup at the Red Paws Day Out

A cocktail pop-up in association with Red Paws Rescue where you can enjoy a day out with your pooches! For an animal lover like me, this is really the best thing to happen! It’s an event for you and your fur baby where you can play with your dog, eat, drink and meet other dog-lovers. You will also see some cool performances by The Midival Punditz, B.L.O.T, Dualist Inquiry, Komorebi, DJ Jitters, Avantika Bakshi, Ish Kaur and Delhi Drum Circle. All the proceeds from this event will go to Red Paws Delhi to help spay & neuter strays.

2. Set up a home bar, while sipping on some great cocktails!

This event came right on time for me as I recently moved houses and very keen on setting up a mini bar at home. This interactive session will have Ekta Marwaha, of Tipple Tales, who will talk about things that often go ignored while setting up a home bar – different kinds of glassware for different drinks, bar table & stools and basic spirits.

I make a mean margarita but there are just so many more interesting cocktails. Mixologist Ola will demonstrate how to mix cocktails like Bloody Mary, Mojito, Manhattan, Daiquiri and other classic cocktails that you *must* know about.

  • When: 6th February, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
  • Where: Hauz Khas Social, 9-A & 12, Hauz Khas Village
  • Entry ticket: Rs 399

3. Be myself at the Pyjama Themed Party

Just for once, you won’t have to dress up to the nines to attend a party! This unique themed party will allow entry to guests who will come wearing their PJs. While you’re in your comfiest night suits, you can relax, enjoy, dance and relish delightful cocktails. I don’t usually go to parties but this one I’d definitely turn up to.

  • When: 9th February, 9:00 PM to 12:00 Midnight
  • Where: Def Col Social, 28-A, Defence Colony Market
  • Entry ticket: Rs 319

4. Enjoy the coolest pub crawl in Delhi

A one-night adventure through 5 hottest bars in Connaught Place! Have heard and read a lot about pub crawls and I’m really excited about it happening in Delhi, so I definitely don’t wanna miss it. Starting from Lord of the Drinks and then hopping to Open House, Teddy Boy, The Flying Saucer Cafe and lastly, Southall Cafe – it’s going to be great affair enjoying varieties of drinks and meeting different people!

  • When: 9th February, 7:00 PM to 12:00 Midnight
  • Where: Lord of the Drinks – Open House – Teddy Boy – The Flying Saucer Cafe – Southhall Cafe
  • Entry ticket: Rs 1499
