Dance guru Suman Mukherjee fell in love with dancing from his childhood when he was learning Mime. Physical acting requires many types of physical activity. Then he came in close contact with Dance. At first he learnt Ballet. After that his interest grew on Ballroom and Latin American Dance form. He enjoyed dancing and didn't know when it beceme his passion and profession..
Suman Started his dance career under veteran dance teacher of Kolkata Mr. Bob Das in 1987 and completed his training in Western Classical Ballet, as well as Disco, Break, Jazz and Hip Hop then Ballroom and Latin-American Dance.
As a Mime Artiste he blended Ballet with Mime and created an experimental Mime production- 'Ballet meets Mime' which was a great success on the public stages throughout the country.
Later, he followed the guidance of Ballroom Dance ( International standard Syllabus) under Victor Veyrasset & Heather Smith (U.S.A.), Latin-American Dance from Corky Ballas & Shirley Ballas, Argentine Tango from Christy Cote` and George Garcia. he learnt Central American style SALSA from Josie Neglia, Rogelio Moreno and Alvaro Coronel. At present, he follows the guideline Of Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing, London.
