Green Gold Animation Pvt ltd was started in 2001 by Mr. Rajiv Chilaka , with just 8 employees. It now has more than 100 employees working on some of the most path breaking original Indian content. It has earned an unique distinction of being the number one Indian Animation Content provider to Turner International. It is also one of the first few entrants in the Indian animation industry with the unique knowledge of developing original IP Content. It created a niche for itself in the industry by producing Vikram Betal, Krishna series, Krishna Balram, Chorr Police and the hugely popular Chhota Bheem.
One of the initial series of Green Gold which took a big step towards its popularity was the Krishna movie series on Cartoon Network. It was adjudged as the top show across all kid's channels in 2007.
