We stayed in the new hotel, there is an older one apparently right by its side. We were a big group and stayed here in 2 rooms combined into 1 (2 double beds), which could easily accommodate 6 people. Bathrooms were clean, rooms had tv and showers had hot water. Nothing really to complain about. I would recommend this place for stay. However, their pick up from the start point of vaishno devi is completely screwed up.***knows why it is so badly managed, it took more than 45 minutes for the taxi to reach us (hotel is barely 2 kms away) total mood spoiler as you are already dead tired by the time you return. Food was ok, almost all of us had an upset stomach, not sure if it was cos of their food water or some other place where we ate. Also, place is near the centre of Katra, so all shops etc are closeby.
