Celebrated cook, award-winning cook-book author and owner of the largest publishers of cookbooks in India, Nita Mehta has made a foray into the restaurant business by opening her first-ever restaurant in the country in Ludhiana. Kelong, the multi-cuisine restaurant at Sarabha Nagar will serve Indian, Chinese and Italian delicacies.
The restaurant houses a lounge and a bar. The place will also double up as a cooking academy for two hours in the morning with a section devoted to it. Notably, Nita is currently running as many as 10 cooking academies in Delhi and the NCR and has sold a record 6 million cookery books so far.
